Our family has been making wine in the Barbaresco production zone since the 1970s.
Craftsmanship, traditional methods and respect for the unique characteristics of the land inspire our work today, just as they did in the past.
Territory and tradition
The story of our winery began at the end of the 1960s, when Rino had completed his oenology studies and decided to start making wine. Enthusiasm, a fair amount of courage and a dash of good luck led to the purchase of the farmhouse that is now home to the winery and some land in the Cottà area.
Having started out with just one small vineyard, over the years, with a great deal of determination and sacrifice, Rino and his wife Anna were able to buy new plots of land in some of the Barbaresco crus, choosing to make single-grape wines from the outset.
Consistency and continuity
THE WINERY TODAY
Today Rino is joined by his children Andrea, Elena and Claudia and they all work together, running the vineyard and cellar with passion and dedication.
The company boasts a high percentage of old vineyards, some planted by Rino in the 1970s and ’80s, others purchased around the same time but having already been in production for several years.
We have been taking special care of our vineyards for over 40 years, with the utmost respect for the land and always observing certified organic practices.
The same care goes into our work in the cellar, aimed at bringing out the excellent quality of the grapes, limiting oenological intervention as much as possible. The ultimate goal is to produce straightforward, territorial wines that express the best qualities of a terroir of absolute excellence.
